Dreaming in Punta Cana

Punta Cana is a truly wonderful place to relax by simply staring at the sea and appreciating the beauty of nature. It felt amazing to just chill and do nothing other than swimming in the sea, relaxing by the pool and sunbathing. I hope you enjoy the pictures I'm sharing with you today. I hope they inspire you to take some time off to relax and enjoy yourself. Thank you very much for your comments.

Cocktails by the Sea

Last weekend I travelled to Porto, a city located in the north of Portugal, where my boyfriend lives. This time we decided to spend the afternoon in Vila do Conde and Leça da Palmeira. First, we had lunch at a lovely sushi restaurant in Vila do Conde called Romando Sushi Café, which is located by the sea. It had a stunning view and the sushi was amazing. After lunch, we visited the Style Outlets in Vila do Conde where I bought a gorgeous dark blue bag from Carolina Herrera. Then we decided to end the day with some cocktails at a lovely beach bar in Leça da Palmeira called L'Kodak. In the pictures I'm wearing a red dress from Sinéquanone, which I combined with a black jacket from Zara and my brand new Carolina Herrera bag. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Looking forward to reading your comments.

Sunday Thoughts

Today I woke up thinking about the many things I need to next week and started feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes it's so hard to keep up with the crazy rhythm of life and suddenly stress starts knocking on your door yet again. But then I took a deep breath and said to myself "chill, it's sunday". So that's exactly what I'm going to do today. I'm going to get out of the house and go for a walk by the sea, have a coffee at my favourite café and then focus on my daily yoga practice. Then I'm going to read "Eat, Pray, Love" on the sofa and rest. Everything else will have to wait... for monday. What are your favourite things to do on a sunday? Looking forward to reading your comments.

Let it rain

A few days ago my boyfriend and I spent the weekend in Montemor-o-Novo, in the Alentejo region of Portugal. We stayed at a lovely 5 star hotel called L'AND Vineyards. Although it was raining, we really enjoyed our stay as the hotel was really comfortable and had a warm indoor swimming pool. On saturday, we had dinner at the famous L'AND Vineyards restaurant and it was was one of the best meals I've ever had. I also loved the hotel breakfast on sunday morning, with fresh fruit, natural juices, pancakes, crepes, eggs cooked in many different ways and much more. On another note, I took the chance to wear my brand new Stan Smith sneakers from Adidas, which I had bought the week before. I fell in love with them the minute I saw them at the Adidas store - they are absolutely stunning! I combined  them with a pink jacket, white top and beige trousers from Zara. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Looking forward to reading your comments.

By the Sea

Last weekend I spent a lovely afternoon in a small town near Sintra called Azenhas do Mar. It is a very charming town, with breathtaking views. We watched the sunset while having dinner at the Azenhas do Mar restaurant, which is located on a hill side by the sea. The seafood was extremely fresh and the staff were very friendly. If you ever visit Azenhas do Mar, I would definitely recommend this restaurant! On another note, I took the opportunity to wear this beautiful floral dress from Zara for the first time, which was a gift from my mother. I combined it with a black blazer from Chopin Roma, heels from Sacha London and a leather bag from Zara. I'm also wearing one of my favourite watches from Swarovski. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Looking forward to reading your comments.

The gardens of Estoril are very special to me. It is the perfect place to relax and escape the stress of everyday life. Watching people walking their dogs and children playing always makes me forget everything else and focus on the beauty of the present moment. Today I'm going to share with you a few pictures taken in this stunning place. I'm wearing a camel coat from Globe, combined with black and white heels from Zara and a black bag from Longchamp. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Thank you very much for your comments.

Tamariz

There is nothing like starting the weekend with a walk by the sea. The Tamariz area of Estoril is one of my favourite places to go for a walk with my family after breakfast or brunch. Sometimes we walk all the way to Cascais, which always feels very refreshing. Although I certainly wouldn't go for a walk wearing heels or a fancy outfit, I thought Tamariz would be a perfect place to take some pictures to share with you all. If you ever come to Lisbon, I highly recommend a visit to Estoril. It is incredibly beautiful and it has many wonderful beaches, restaurants and cafés. In the pictures, I'm wearing a white coat from Chopin Roma, a blouse and green leopard print trousers from Zara, which I combined with my favourite heels from LK Bennett and Speedy Bag by Louis Vuitton. Looking forward to reading your comments.

Take it slow

Last weekend I went to Évora on a three-day mini break. Alentejo is one of my favourite places in Portugal to run away and escape from the stress of everyday life. It was wonderful to take some time off to chill and relax. I will be sharing photos of this trip very soon on the blog. On another note, today I'm sharing a few more pictures taken in Costa da Caparica - this time indoors. I hope you enjoy them. Thanks in advance for your comments.

The Boat

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you all have a wonderful day with your loved ones! The pictures I'm sharing today were taken in Costa da Caparica, near Lisbon. In the summer, Costa da Caparica is always very busy but around this time of year it is very peaceful and quiet. Going for a walk on the beach always feels very refreshing - it is one of my favourite things. I hope you enjoy the pictures. Looking forward to reading your comments.
